One to One Peer Support
Hope for Mental Health provides trained Peer Support Workers who engage with individuals in the community living with mental illness. We accept referrals from healthcare professionals, families, and individuals seeking peer support. Our Peer Support Workers meet one-on-one with participants, offering a safe space to discuss their concerns, share personal experiences, and collaborate on recovery goals.
What is Peer Support?
Peer support is a form of social and emotional assistance in which someone with lived experience of mental illness shares their journey and insights with those seeking guidance. This mutual exchange fosters a supportive relationship, enabling both individuals to work towards personal growth and well-being.
