One-to-One Peer Support

Hope for Mental Health provides a one-to-one peer support program in which trained Peer Support Workers meet with individuals in the community who live with a mental health concern such as: anxiety, depression, borderline personality disorder, psychotic disorders, and/or bipolar disorder. We accept referrals from healthcare professionals, families, and individuals seeking peer support. Our Peer Support Workers meet one-on-one with participants, offering a safe space to discuss their concerns, share personal experiences, and collaborate on recovery goals.

What is Peer Support?
Peer support is a form of social and emotional assistance in which someone with lived experience of mental illness shares their journey and insights with those seeking guidance. This mutual exchange fosters a supportive relationship, enabling both individuals to work towards personal growth and well-being.
